Sporting the new uniforms today, thankfully they grow on you and I heard a couple of compliments from strangers so I guess they are ok. Our first game was against Triple Threat who beat us yesterday. They were ahead 2 to 0 in the 3rd but in the 5th we finally got the swing of things and pulled out a win. Our second game was against the Warriors who kicked our butts....nuff said!

Sometimes you Walk sometimes you Hit and sometimes you Strike Out.
It was a rough Saturday at the park. There were several great hits and only a couple strike outs, but too many errors resulted in 2 loses. On a happy note, Grandma Cindy is here this weekend!!!
Based on the ball stiches that are creating a colorful bruise on his upper arm this morning I am thinking he got hit harder than I thought. Kudos to him shaking that off like he did!
FYI...William said he we bummed he does not own any sleeveless shirts so he could wear this like a badge of honor all day. He also said he expected to see this posted before he gets out of school today so here you go buddy.
Our Little League season came to an end this evening. The boys played hard and it was another nail bitter game. It was heart breaking to see some of the boys (including mine) crying when they lost, but knowing that they have that kind of passion inside of them is heart warming.

Last Thursday we were told that we did not make it into the Little League playoff's. However, we received a call on Saturday from the coach letting us know we slid on in there! Played our first game tonight against the Braves and...wait for it...WE WON!!!! I say WE because us parents play a major part in all games. :)
All kidding aside it was a great game. We were down, we were tied, we were down, we were up and then we won. Great game boys!

Little bit of his pitching...No worries, he got back up and walked off that little home plate collision.
William did not bat this game, during the 2nd inning he was catching and took a bad hop to the thigh. At home resting now, I'm sure he will be back at it tomorrow.
